Pilot Consulting was a husband-and-wife team of software developers who were working for the Pima County Budget Department when I met them. They were completely overhauling the county's Financial Planning System (FPS) database and front-end software, using SQL Server. The FPS System budgets one billion dollars, 50 departments, 275 programs and 8,000 employees.

I was interning there at the time, and as their 2-year long project closed, the husband-and-wife team needed to consider how to draw new clients - and so asked me to make a website and design a logo for them.

I know it gained a few more jobs for them, but the company no longer exists new, and I haven't heard from them since my work with them. Since they were about retirement age, so I can only guess they're in the Caribbean.

The illustrations on the card were stock images, but I designed everything else. The accompanying website no longer exists, either.
